Hello! I’m Meggie! I’m Cat of the Month for October!
I am a short-haired, all-black young female that came in as a stray and in advanced pregnancy. I’m fit and well and hasn’t been neutered or vaccinated. I produced 6 kittens on 22nd April and I’m being spayed on 9th June. I eat both wet and dry food.
I’m a friendly cat and haven’t shown any aggression, am known to be good with children and male cats but not females and unknown around dogs. I’m house-trained so can be left in all day. I was found on a farm and lived in a barn and it’s thought I may have been a house cat. I’ve been a good little mother. I’ll be ready for rehoming once I’ve been spayed.
What the Ark says about me
Meggie has the problem of all black cats (and dogs) – they don’t take good photos, that and coupled with the fact that she hardly ever keeps still!! She’s super friendly loves fuss, purrs constantly and head butts and doesn’t allow you to ignore her! She’s fine to be held if it means she gets some fuss and attention. She seems to prefer female cats and has been sharing quite happily with another female. She likes some space and didn’t like being in a smaller cat cabin post-spaying but has really blossomed in the larger pen with some outdoor space. If you love a really affectionate cat and can give Meggie the time she needs, then come and meet her..
